I agree with this review. Along with the writer, I think that the besides one of the opening scenes, too much of the film takes place within the classroom. I also believe that Mrs. G’s problems with her husband with aren’t explained well enough, and that that part of the story felt thrown together near the end. However, I disagree that Andre was a standout character. I thought that his subplot was barely tied together near the end. Overall, I thought that this review showed the film well.

The Red Door

The red door really isn’t anything special, besides it’s color. Thousands of people pass through the red door everyday, without thinking twice about it. There are many, many red doors all across the world, and none of them are noteworthy. There is no difference between the red door, and all the other doors.

December 24th, 2006 was a pretty ordinary day, by Christmas Eve standards. I woke up, wished it was Christmas, got dressed and waited for my father to pick me up. We drove off to my grandparent’s house in Homer. There, me and all my cousins sat around for a few hours, watching TV and talking about the important happenings in our schools. Then, we moved into the living room for the present exchange. The younger peons passed out the gifts, while the older kids just got to sit around and open them. After that, I went to my mom’s family. There, we ate dinner and left at around 9. At 11, I happily went to bed and waited for Christmas day.
